Washington Business Journal presents award to Celerity
October 11, 2007
Celerity is pleased to announce its placement on the Washington Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Companies list for 2007 for the second year in a row. Based upon revenue growth over three years (2004-2006), this ranking signifies yet another milestone for the business and technology consulting firm as it continues to promote its new brand and receive awards for its continued growth in the Washington market. Celerity achieved an impressive 82.19% growth in consolidated revenue soaring from $11.96 million in 2004 to $39.48 million in 2006, earning the honor of the 14th Fastest Growing Company in the DC area.
A repeat appearance on the Washington Business Journal’s prestigious list denotes an outstanding accomplishment, as the rankings are based on percentage growth, thereby requiring exponential growth each year. In a year of major changes in brand messaging to better market the flexible engagement model Celerity has embraced, this award comes at a great time for Celerity to prove that their new strategy is working and that their growth last year was not just a one-time occurrence but instead a sign of sustained expansion to better meet the needs of its clients. Celerity also garnered a placement this year on Inc. Magazine’s Inc 500, a list of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S.
