Westbrook Forest Project underway in Fairfax
June 23, 2007
Fairfax, VA – Celerity is proud to announce its sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity's Westbrook Forest Project. At the 2006 Virginia Holiday Party, Celerity employees and their guests chose Habitat as the primary non-profit recipient in Celerity's 2007 Corporate Giving Campaign, and on Saturday, June 23, Celerity employees saw their vision become a reality by volunteering their carpentry skills on-site at the Westbrook Forest condominium complex in Fairfax. These quality, affordable homes for twelve deserving families comprise the first condominium complex built by Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia.
Volunteers completed the strenuous task of insulating the entire twelve-unit condominium, all in one day. These highly-motivated advocates of Habitat for Humanity included (pictured from left to right): Srinivas Nidumolu, Gillian Mascis, David Mascis, Nisha Bindal, Bob Hickey, Kat Gray, Roxane Hickey, and Divya Vasuedevan. Included but not pictured were Glenn Mullins and Marie Achard.
Celerity hopes to continue its commitment to the Habitat cause of helping more families achieve their "Vision" of homeownership, by way of the "Versatility" of talents that only our dedicated team can offer.
