Prior to leading Celerity, Michael was a founding partner of Acuity Technology Services, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1996 until 2000. Michael was instrumental in the company’s growth to a 450-person operation with $55M+ in revenue over four years.
Michael has more than 25 years of diverse entrepreneurial experience. He has founded four companies, helped to establish a bank, and has advised and accepted management positions in numerous ventures.
Jim leads the operations, business development, recruiting and client relationship management functions of the Pennsylvania offices.
Jim has more than 18 years of progressive experience in IT consulting and project based outsourcing. Prior to joining Celerity, Jim worked for a high growth IT start up organization, Solution Technologies Inc. (STI). During his tenure with STI, he quickly leveraged his technology experience as a consultant to transition into a sales position. STI was acquired by Metro Information Services, where Jim assumed the role of Managing Director of Pennsylvania, responsible for three offices and over $20 million in annual sales. After two successful years in one of Metro’s top regions, the company was acquired by Keane, Inc. Jim continued to serve as Managing Director for outsourced and project-based engagements with Keane, until he started Celerity’s Harrisburg office.
Mike leads the operations, business development, recruiting and client relationship management functions of Celerity’s New York City and Hartford, CT offices.
Mike has over 10 years of experience in information technology and consulting services. Mike was a founding partner of Symmetry Technology, an IT consulting firm, in 1999 and served as the President. Prior to 1999, Mike spent six years in technology sales and sales management.
Mark serves as the President of the company’s newest business venture, Celerity Government Solutions, LLC. Mark leads the operations, business development, recruiting and client relationship management functions with a focus on driving direct business with Government organizations around the world.
Mark has over 12 years of management consulting experience and joins the Celerity team after more than a decade with IBM. At IBM, Mark served as an account executive and consulting practice leader focused on business consulting, systems integration, business operations and business transformation services in the public sector. Immediately prior to joining Celerity Government Solutions, Mark was an Account Executive and Service Area Leader with IBM responsible for building the company’s business consulting portfolio across the Federal sector. Over the last three years at IBM, Mark managed a portfolio that included 30+ programs with revenues of $50M and led sales efforts that resulted in more than $100M in new signings. Mark holds a BA in Politics and Government from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Corporate Finance from The University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.
Mark is the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for all aspects of business development.
Mark brings more than 20 years of diverse experience in the technology services industry to Celerity. Prior to Celerity, Mark served as Vice President of Sales at Acuity Technology Services from 1996 to 2000 and was responsible for revenues in excess of $30 million.
Mark began his career by working for two entrepreneurial ventures. He subsequently joined a technology staffing company in a sales capacity. Two years later, Mark was recruited to become Regional Manager for a national technology services company in New York. Returning to Washington in 1991, he joined The Registry, Inc. in a sales capacity and within six months, was ranked nationally among Registry sales representatives. After a successful three-and-a-half years selling technical staff augmentation, Mark was recruited to join Trecomm Business Systems, where he developed over $4.5 million in annualized revenue in just over 17 months.
Rob Smith is the Vice President of the Commercial Division and is responsible for all aspects of business and practice development.
Prior to joining Celerity, Rob served as the Vice President of Sales at Iron Mountain. His marketing and business development efforts drove annual federal sales to over $50 million. Rob had worked at Iron Mountain since its 2004 merger with Arcemus, a private equity venture company he co-founded in 2002.
At Arcemus, Rob led all core sales leadership and he facilitated revenue growth of more than $4 million over a two-year period. Rob established a Global 2000 client base consisting of major blue-chip commercial companies. Rob helped structure, negotiate and close the 2004 acquisition by Iron Mountain that allowed Arcemus to gain access to lower cost capital needed to fund growth.
Rob has twenty years of experience in business development and management consulting and has served in leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture. He has worked with numerous Fortune 1,000 companies in a variety of areas including business process improvement, enterprise resource planning implementations, program management and enterprise change management services.
Kevin leads the development, marketing, and execution of services to Celerity’s commercial and government clients. Kevin’s organization also oversees Celerity’s consultant base.
Kevin has over 17 years of experience in information technology and consulting and over 15 years of experience in the financial services and mortgage industries. Prior to joining Celerity in 2003, Kevin served as a Director of the Financial Services Practice for Digital Focus, a boutique management and technology consulting firm. Prior to holding this position, Kevin was a Director of eBusiness at 2nd Century Communications, where he led the formation of the company’s ecommerce products, services, and infrastructure. Before serving in these leadership roles, Kevin spent nine years in a variety of managerial roles in business and IT for one of the nation’s largest financial services companies, Fannie Mae.
Lewis leads the accounting, finance and operations functions that support Celerity's employees, clients, vendors and other external constituents.
Lewis has over 17 years of experience providing financial, operational, and management expertise to entrepreneurial companies. His experience includes working within the Federal government, technology services, real estate, and venture capital communities. From 1996 to 2000, Lewis was the Chief Financial Officer for Acuity Technology Services. At Acuity he was instrumental in increasing the sophistication, responsiveness, and productive capacity in financial and operational areas for Acuity’s internal and external constituents. Prior to joining Acuity, Lewis spent six years in public accounting where he performed a wide range of consulting, assurance, and tax services for entrepreneurial clients.
Anne leads the recruiting function for Celerity’s Northern Virginia office. In addition, she plays a strategic role in the overall operations of the organization.
Anne has over 18 years of staffing industry experience. Prior to joining Celerity, Anne served as the VP of Recruiting for Acuity Technology from 1996 to 2000. Anne’s unique approach to recruiting is derived from her previous experience in permanent placement and temporary administrative staffing.
