Celerity Advances Information Protection Capabilities for Global Packaging Company
McLEAN, VA - Celerity was recently engaged to improve information management practices associated with handling of nonpublic information for a global packaging company. Faced with complex privacy regulation and cross-border data sharing issues, the client is seeking to enhance its information protection and compliance posture.
Partnering with the company’s Enterprise Information Protection program team, Celerity’s Information Security and IT Risk Management consultants will assess theinformation protection network, support privacy regulatory compliance, and conduct current state analysis of the policies, processes, and underlying technical controls.
By analyzing existing information protection program areas, artifacts and key stakeholders, Celerity will compare the company's current state against international privacy principles, analyze existing governance structure, and recommend prioritized enhancements to improve the company’s information protection processes. In support of the overall Cybersecurity strategy, our consultants will help to identify tactical improvement opportunities to increase management’s visibility into risks associated with data in transit and data at rest, usage requirements, and technical safeguards required to prevent unauthorized access.
Concurrently, Celerity will spearhead various compliance activities to help the client remain vigilant and aligned with regulatory expectations.
