Celerity Announces Two New Vice Presidents
McLEAN, VA – Celerity is pleased to announce the promotion of two senior executives to Vice President roles. Anne-Marie Diaz, CPA, has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and Jenifer Kern has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing.
“Both Anne-Marie and Jenifer have consistently demonstrated a level of excellence that has had a significant impact on Celerity’s business. I am really excited to have two leaders in the company who have the capability and passion to take Celerity through its next round of growth,” said Lewis Waters, COO/CFO at Celerity.
The new Vice President of Finance, Anne-Marie Diaz, CPA, joined Celerity as Controller in 2007 following a successful seven year career in public accounting with Arthur Anderson and Ernst & Young. Over the years Anne-Marie has developed and implemented numerous accounting system and process improvements while building and leading an accounting department that has been able to keep pace with Celerity’s growth. She has established a solid footing for the company through her stewardship of finances and increased the level of sophistication with which Celerity provides operational services to the company. “Anne-Marie has been an invaluable teammate to us all and we look forward to her continued contributions in this new capacity,” said Waters.
Jenifer Kern, Vice President of Marketing, joined Celerity in 2011 with a charter to unify our brand. Following the successful rebranding efforts, Jenifer immediately launched a series of other new initiatives to help Celerity create an impactful marketing and lead generation engine.
Jenifer and the marketing department have built a robust case study library to illustrate client successes, implemented a marketing automation system and lead generation process, and developed other sales enablement tools to make the sales and recruiting teams more effective and efficient. Jenifer and her team have also been instrumental in establishing a social media presence for the company—including LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, and Facebook—to showcase Celerity’s thought leadership.
