Celerity Government Solutions Announces New Director of Business Development
McLEAN, VA – Celerity Government Solutions (CGS) is proud to introduce John Hancock as the new Director of Business Development. John joins CGS after 30+ years of Government service.
In his new role, John will be responsible for developing and implementing Celerity’s revenue growth plan. Moreover, he will identify and carry out the best possible opportunities for enhancing Celerity’s support to Federal government programs.
John worked at the Department of Veterans Affairs for 14 years in many leadership roles. Most recently, he directed identity management, smart card technology, electronic logical and physical access control systems. He also supported VA’s emergency management and continuity programs and represented VA in the Department’s Continuity of Government and Continuity of Operations programs.
John served as Director of Safety and Health at several agencies including the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
John is a graduate of Shepherd University with a degree in Business Administration and Mass Communications and received a graduate degree in Occupational Safety from the University of Southern California.
John and his family reside in South Riding, VA.
