Celerity Improves Project Management Execution Capabilities for Global Health Services Company
HARTFORD, CT – Celerity recently completed an assessment to support the project execution process for a major data analytics program for a global health services provider based in Hartford, CT.
Celerity’s cross-functional team of senior Business Process Management (BPM) and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) consultants spearheaded the 30-day engagement, starting with an operational assessment andcurrent state analysis of the client’s project management lifecycle.
By interviewing key project resources, Celerity captured the current state; identified inconsistencies, redundancies and bottlenecks; and recommended enhancements to streamline the project management lifecycle’s early stages. Celerity presented its recommendations in the form of comprehensive process flows, documentation, and project management templates. These enhancements leveraged industry best practices to enable a repeatable set of procedures for improving efficiencies in project management execution, as well increase transparency around accountabilities for key project activities and deliverables.
“This client engagement is an excellent story about two of our offerings coming together to solve a client stuck point. Project management involves a ton of consistent, repeatable processes—it just makes sense to apply business process management rigor around it to drive efficiencies for our clients,” stated Kevin Coyle, Celerity’s VP of Service Delivery.
As a result of the success of this engagement, the client has asked Celerity to continue the process analysis and documentation effort through the rest of the project execution lifecycle as well as continue to recommend and develop project management artifacts leveraging our past experiences and industry best practices. In addition, Celerity will develop an implementation roadmap to assist the client in migrating from their current process to the new project execution model. This work will continue to enable the client to successfully deliver data analytics projects.
