Global Food Retailer Awards Celerity Vendor Management Contract
MECHANICSBURG, PA – Today, Celerity announced it has won a three-year, $30 million contract to provide vendor management services to a large international food retailer with supermarkets in the US and Europe.
Effective September 1, 2011, Celerity will manage the client’s network of technology vendors, including ten suppliers and 75 consultants in three key locations.

As part of the client’s focus on improving overall operations, Celerity will implement best-in-class human resources and recruiting procedures for diverse technology initiatives. Specific skill sets Celerity will target include business analyst, project management and Oracle positions.
Additionally, Celerity will assist the client in creating a centralized sourcing organization supported by a modernized technology platform. Future work may include providing enterprise technology solutions for application integration efforts.
