Jeff Lawrence Moderates Createasphere’s Digital Asset Management Conference
McLEAN, VA – Jeff Lawrence, Celerity’s Senior Web & Mobile Engagement Director, is a featured moderator at Createasphere’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) Conference on October 8, 2013 in New York City.
Jeff will lead a panel, entitled–Digital Archives and Content Reuse–focusing on the evolving DAM space and the steps companies must take to handle their assets more efficiently. He recently published a 3-part Digital Asset Management blog series that highlights strategies for choosing a system, estimating costs, and calculating ROI.
Many companies are struggling to define and develop intelligent and automated workflows that maximize the ROI of their digital assets. With the help of three DAM experts–Dana Hayward (Senior Manager at HarperCollins Children’s Books), Larry Baach (VP,Digital Video Operations at Condé Naste Entertainment) and Philip Spiegel (Director, DAM Projects at LAC Group)–the panel will explore new and creative ideas for maximizing DAM ROI.
The collaborative dialogue will address various DAM challenges including multiple-siloed DAM Systems, defining and developing intelligent and automated workflows, the lack of controlled vocabulary and a need for bigger and more content. The group will also spotlight future DAM trends including the integration with social publishing systems, social collaboration to build brand consistency, and affordable Saas solutions with incredible UX and Google-like simplicity.
Working on the Web & Mobile Solutions team at Celerity, Jeff leads large-scale Digital Asset Management projects while also providing strategic planning, platform selection, content strategy, and other digital and media asset solutions for nonprofit, education, and media clients. Prior to joining Celerity, Jeff led technology and communications efforts for Knight Ridder reporters and photographers during the Iraq War. His efforts were recognized as part of the prestigious James K. Batten Excellence Awards Special Citation for war coverage.
