DITSCAP Certification Initiative

Challenge: Celerity was tasked with supporting a DISA Field Security Operations initiative to ensure that all United States Department of Defense sites and systems comply with DOD’s Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP) standards and guidelines.

Solution: Celerity provided a team of Certified Information System Security Professionals (CISSP) to perform the required assessments around the world. Celerity’s resources assessed all aspects of IT security against DITSCAP standards, including server, database, network, and application layers.

Results: Within the first year of a multi-year engagement, dozens of Department of Defense sites and systems achieved DITSCAP certification and accreditation due to the efforts of Celerity consultants.
