Using CMS Development Agility to Launch a New Education Portal
A public television network wanted to redevelop its existing, antiquated education site into a new portal where the public could gain free and instant access to thousands of classroom-ready, digital resources.
Using strong agile expertise and Django development capabilities, Celerity’s Web and Mobile consultants skillfully merged several legacy systems into one lightweight and powerful digital platform. We leveraged open source resources to create features like premium content availability, customized user settings, and sharing capabilities.
The Acceleration? In six months, we built a multi-site CMS platform that can scale to support thousands of sites—from states and school districts to individual schools and classrooms.
