What You’ll Do

  • Work as a Data Project Manager role on a transformational effort.
  • Be responsible for managing the end to end data effort, which includes the identification of a data element, tracing it back to its original source, completion and review of the data analysis, business signoff, data model enhancement and ultimately delivering the data element to IT to be incorporated into the application platform.
  • Work with the workstream project managers across the different teams which need to participate in the end to end data effort.
  • Oversee and track the end to end stages of the data effort
  • Work collaboratively with the cross functional teams and business stakeholders
  • Participate and at times lead cooperative efforts with project team members representing multiple diverse groups and divisions.
  • Manage assigned efforts using standard project management tools, including project work plans, issue logs, budget tools and the reporting and facilitation of appropriate and effective meetings.
  • Participate in Requirements and Design discussions with project stakeholders.
  • Assist with rollout / communication activities.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business
  • Minimum of 6 years of project management experience
  • Have strong data analysis/mining and analytical skills
  • Have previous customer relations experience with business and technical teams Project Management/Change Management experience especially involving changes to business applications and technology.
  • Experience with creation and definition of business cases, integrated project plans and associated deliverables.
  • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various types of audiences.
  • Ability to take initiative with general guidance and direction
  • Acts as liaison between business area and technical support teams to ensure all parties have complete understanding of the data business requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in management consulting environments supporting multiple clients and large, complex engagements
  • Minimum of 5+ years working in structured SDLC projects (Agile & Waterfall) Agile strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years working on Data projects
  • Prior experience with COTS implementations
  • Experience interfacing with multiple levels of client organizations including Executives
  • 3+ years gathering functional and technical requirements
  • Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite to include PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Visio
  • Superior communication and influencing skills, especially at the senior leadership levels
  • Prior experience in secondary mortgage market preferred
