Our mission as part of Cloud Services Team is to provide Platforms as a Service (PaaS) that will ultimately host all compute workload (OBEs and others). Thanks to our partnership with Red Hat, we aim at leveraging features offered by Kubernetes / OpenShift to provide a stable and reliable PaaS. Our team focuses on deploying and operating PaaS based on Openshift.
What You’ll Do
Provide services developed in the Cloud Services organization on top of OpenShift: Orchestration, Deployment (as part of CI/CD), Configuration, Integration of the environment.
Deploy applications integrated with the environment.
Provide follow-the-sun support (including on-call) to application SRE teams
All these activities should comply with strong security requirements and a focus on stability and automated recovery
Operation automation that follows CS SRE guidelines and allows to scale and provide PaaS where needed. PaaS that provide expected platform services: SLA, capacity, functionality, security
Participate in the validation and deployment of new CS and OpenShift deliveries
Ensure that the PaaS setup and capacity evolve in a way that provides the proper level of service to the applications
Automate all actions possible, to increase efficiency, limit human errors, while providing traceability of actions
Contribute to architecture and technical designs by providing operability feedback
Handle issues, investigate together with Application SRE, IaaS SRE, and domain experts
Participate in application migrations to the PaaS, by documenting best practices, providing support
Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent
2 to 10 years of experience
SRE or equivalent experience, with focus on support of complex production environments and automation
Experience with Kubernetes / Openshift and Cloud technologies, scripting (Bash), python, ansible, GO, Jenkins Pipeline, System Administration, Linux, Virtualization and containers, Networking
