National Geographic turned to Celerity’s web and mobile experts to help design, develop, and implement a dynamic web portal for the project. Here, participants can receive their personalized DNA results in a compelling story-telling format that features interactive maps, 3D booklets and data visualization experiences.
The Acceleration? In just eight weeks, Celerity delivered a new, cutting-edge participant experience that enabled users to track multiple aspects of their genetic lineage.
The site won Interactive Media Awards (IMA) for "Best in Class" in Science & Technology and Nonprofit Websites; and was a top-five finalist at SXSW Interactive Awards.
